Programs for Volunteers

Volunteering is an excellent opportunity to meet new people, share your knowledge and abilities, and exercise your heart, body and mind. Our volunteers are a vibrant, valuable asset to our agency and serve our clients in a variety of ways, including through:

  • Senior Companion Program
  • Foster Grandparent Program
  • Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

Programs for Older Adults

Our services and programs for older adults promote health and independence for seniors. We encourage participants to be active and healthy through a variety of offerings, including:

  • Council for Older Adults in Niagara County
  • Golden Age Program
  • Senior Prom

Programming for Children

At HANCI, we strongly believe in inter-generational programming and the benefits it provides to both students & seniors. There are many opportunities throughout the year for students of all ages to become engaged at HANCI. Some examples are: the HANCI Senior Prom, Council for Older Adults of Niagara’s (COA) Annual Picnic, Craft Days at CSC – and so much more.
