Council for Older Adults (COA) Announces Summer Picnic

COA ANNUAL PICNIC HAPPENING ON AUGUST 21ST

All Niagara County Residents 55 + Invited to Attend

Monica Barner, Coordinator of the Council for Older Adults in Niagara County (COA)* at HANCI**, announced registration is now available for the group’s Annual Summer Picnic.

The event, taking place on Monday, August 21st from 11 am to 2 pm, is happening at Pine Woods Park on Schenck Street in North Tonawanda. Chiavetta’s Famous Chicken is catering this summer party for Niagara County residents 55 years of age and older. The cost is $12 per person and includes lunch, games and raffles.

Reservations are required for this “rain or shine” event and can be made by calling 716-285-8224, ext. 215.

*The Council for Older Adults in Niagara County (COA) promotes and coordinates public and private programs that support and safeguard the independence and well –being of our senior population. COA is funded through the Niagara County Office for Aging and operates under the umbrella of HANCI programs and services.
